PepperSteak (So Long)
Guillaume Tavernier. Dahab, Egypt. 2007.

That face, you will not be able to see it around. Indeed, PepperSteak (from his crazy way of ordering that dish in Dahab, Egypt) has decided to perform one last stunt that sent him directly up there last Saturday.

Smash in the face, sad, angry, pissed off and eventually resigned.

As a good friend put it “No rhyme, no reason and nothing anyone says can make it better. it will ebb and flow … take each day as it comes. that’s all you can do.” And that is all we shall do. So long.

Patrick has his way to say it too.

Penguins

Camera: Canon Eos 40D
Exposure: 0.005 s (1/200)
Aperture: f2.8
Focal Length: 28 mm
ISO Speed: 400

Another shot art Berlin zoo. Totally moveless penguins (sorry, it’s the same word for “pingouins” and “manchots” in English, so I can’t apologize for the mistake in the title of the post), an unreal light that gives this “drawn” aspect to the shot, and a little play with the reflection in the water, of course…

A shot taken at Berlin Zoo. A few seconds to discover the “charming little detail” in the middle of this green setting…

Water Mirror @ Bordeaux

Camera: Canon Eos 40D

Exposure: 0.003 s (1/400)
Aperture: f9
Focal length: 50 mm
ISO speed: 160

Week-end à Bordeaux, balade le long des quais réhabilités, en particulier avec ce “Miroir d’Eau”. L’occasion de jouer un peu avec les reflets, ainsi qu’avec la “fumée d’eau” et les nuages.

Week-end in Bordeaux, walk along the renovated docks, particularly with this “Water Mirror”.
An opportunity to play with reflexion, as well as with the “water smoke” and the clouds.
